Cleveland Burlesque formally known as Le Femme Mystique Burlesque was established in 2004 under the production direction of Mexican Immigrant Bella Sin. The traveling burlesque production found a home at the historic Beachland Ballroom in The Waterloo Arts District in 2010 where they started large productions bringing top national to international burlesque, drag and vaudeville talent. In 2011 they sponsored the 1st international Ohio Burlesque at their home venue. The production welcome state wide attention in 2013 receiving the honor of Best Burlesque Troupe of 2013 by the now 3-day international Ohio Burlesque Festival, thru the years of development Le Femme Mystique has produced over 1000+ shows in NE Ohio, Pittsburgh, Columbus and Detroit.
Their brand of burlesque, drag, comedy and variety with diversity makes them a show to Cleveland, by Cleveland for Cleveland with Love. The Sold- Out monthly shows include Sweetheart Showcase, Starwars Burlesque, The Nightmare Before, The Roxy Remembered to name a some of the show stoping productions that they have monthly. Focus for our shows is to have a diverse cast and an inclusive show that represents the beauty of what it is those glittering unicorns!
The International Ohio Burlesque Festival continues to grow under the sponsorship of Cleveland Burlesque now three night of international performances. Le Femme has always inclusive to performers of color, age, size, sexual orientation or disability.
